To celebrate Black History Month (February), and the “International Day of Zero Tolerance to Female Genital Mutilation” (February 6th) as declared by United Nations, I decided to get some girlfriends together for a party. And not just any party, but a Passion Party! That’s where sex toys and lotions, potions and perfumes are sold. And this was also a great opportunity to introduce Clitoraid and our choco-clitboxes to everyone ( see below video about the clitbox concept)
While listening to a presentation by our Passion Party hostess, we laughed and giggled like school girls. It was so much fun! Irene prepared an assortment of beautiful vegetarian dishes that everyone loved. And after the Passion Party presentation, we passed around various toys while I gave a small talk about Clitoraid and FGM (female genital mutilation). Then I passed around Clitoraid chocolates which everyone bought. One of my girlfriends was so moved by Clitoraid that she decided to take some boxes with her to sell at her hair salon where she’ll tell her clients all about Clitoraid.
The Passion Party was a great success and the reaction to Clitoraid was super positive. We had fun, raised awareness, and raised money! I look forward to doing this again because it was so much fun!
