Case in point: If someone believes LGBTQ+ individuals deserve no rights, or that Black people are an inferior race, or that women shouldn’t have control over their own bodies, or if someone thinks a white man is automatically more qualified and competent to lead a nation than a person of color or a woman, then I rest my case. That person simply wouldn’t be eligible to vote because a well-written, universal, and standardized EQ/IQ screening test would detect these deeply disturbing and harmful biases.

And such an individual would be disqualified—not just from voting, but also from becoming an elected official, and not based on personal opinions, but due to their failure to meet the minimum emotional and cognitive threshold required to vote responsibly. This kind of filtering system wouldn’t be about excluding or disenfranchising people, but rather about evolving into a more just and compassionate society and protecting it from further regressing into tribalism, ignorance, divisiveness, hate, and violence.

To be clear, I firmly stand for fundamental human rights such as LGBTQ+ rights, sexual rights, gender equality, freedom of speech, the right to die with dignity, religious freedom, and bodily autonomy. But voting? I’m not so sure it should be treated like a blanket right anymore. Maybe it’s time to admit that democracy needs more quality control. After all, voting is one of the most powerful tools we have in a democratic society. But the real question we must ask ourselves is: “Should it be granted to everyone automatically, or should it be earned?”

Now, there’s no question that we evolve as individuals, and so do our values, our thinking, and our capacity for reason. Unfortunately, cognitive decline and the loss of mental faculties are real and often inevitable for many. Should a person who is cognitively impaired vote? If your answer is “no” and you are consistent, it logically follows that a person who is emotionally unstable or has no EQ, and/or is intellectually deficient, shouldn’t vote either.

And the reality is that many voters and politicians exhibit such deficiencies in both intellectual and emotional competencies that undermine their ability to make sound decisions for society. And that is the big issue here. I believe we must fundamentally reevaluate the rules that govern voting in our society. As mentioned, and I emphasize, this isn’t about disenfranchising people, but about upgrading democracy. Imagine a transparent, accessible testing system, designed not to exclude, but to ensure a baseline of civic competence. One that measures critical thinking, emotional and intellectual intelligence, a basic understanding of how government works, and respect for human rights and diversity.

No memory drills, no elitism, no favoritism, but just a fair threshold rooted in reason and compassion. Wouldn’t that be something? Because while treating voting as a right has historically empowered millions, treating it as a privilege may be the only way to ensure that society is compassionately and intelligently heard. Otherwise, without some filter of civic responsibility, basic competence, and shared humanity, we will continue to risk being governed by the ignorant, irrational, uninformed, uneducated, emotionally unstable, and ideologically dangerous. And you know what that means.

Geniocracy and Voting as a Privilege

Based on the concept of Geniocracy proposed by the International Raelian Movement (Geniocracy), treating voting as a privilege aligns more naturally with the Raelian model than viewing it as a universal right. In this system, the privilege of voting is reserved for individuals who demonstrate high intellectual (IQ) and emotional (EQ) competence, along with being well-informed. The aim is to establish governance by the most qualified minds—those capable of making decisions rooted in reason, compassion, and long-term vision.

Rather than empowering the majority by default or those who merely seek political power, Geniocracy advocates for leadership by the most intelligent and wise individuals. It emphasizes that society should be guided by those best equipped—mentally, emotionally, and ethically—to make decisions that serve the collective good. This approach reflects the Raelian belief in intelligence and wisdom as essential pillars of governance, striving to create a world where political leadership is not driven by popularity or ambition, but by knowledge, critical thinking, and an unwavering commitment to human rights and dignity.

Selection of the Most Qualified Leaders

Geniocracy advocates for a system in which leaders are selected based on their intelligence, wisdom, and demonstrated ability to govern effectively and for the People. In this context, voting becomes a privilege granted to those who meet a certain threshold of knowledge and understanding coupled with high IQ & EQ. The goal is to ensure that critical societal decisions are shaped by individuals capable of grasping complex issues and envisioning long-term consequences—ultimately leading to more informed governance and better outcomes for society.

Merit-Based Participation

In a Geniocratic system, voting is not extended automatically to all citizens. Instead, it is reserved for those who fulfill specific intellectual and emotional criteria, often measured through standardized cognitive and emotional assessments (e.g., IQ and EQ). This approach rests on the belief that while everyone may have opinions, not everyone possesses the necessary tools to make informed choices on intricate political and social matters. Limiting participation to those deemed more competent is intended to reduce the risks of impulsive, uninformed, and ill-informed decision-making.

Preventing the “Tyranny of the Majority”

Geniocracy also seeks to avoid what is sometimes referred to as the tyranny of the majority—a condition where the uninformed opinions of the masses result in policies that may be harmful to the broader population or the planet. By treating voting as a privilege, the system aims to filter political power through the lens of wisdom and competence, thereby safeguarding collective well-being and protecting society from the potential consequences of populism, extremism, or demagoguery.

Promoting Rational, Science-Based Governance

The Raelian philosophy places a premium on rationality, scientific evidence, and compassion. A Geniocratic voting system supports this by ensuring that only those capable of critical thinking, logical reasoning, and emotional competence influence political outcomes. This emphasis on reason over rhetoric, and competence over charisma, aligns with the Raelian vision of a future guided by science, empathy, and long-term planetary stewardship.

Rael, the founder of the Raelian Movement, emphasizes the importance of personal choice in religious matters:

“No religion should be imposed on babies or even children! I remind everybody that to become Raelian you must be at least 15 years old and pass a short examination proving that it’s your choice and that it is not your parents forcing you. The Messages recommend teaching children all religions (including atheism) and letting them chose if they wish to embrace one when they reach the age of 15.”

This principle underscores the Raelian stance: children should not be subjected to rituals like baptism or circumcision without their informed consent. Instead, they should have the freedom to decide for themselves when they reach an age of understanding.

Critics of infant baptism also include Mary McAleese, former President of Ireland, who argued that the practice infringes on fundamental human rights:

“Infant baptism violates human rights. You can’t impose lifelong obligations on a two-week-old child, and you can’t say to them at seven or eight or 14 or 19 ‘here is what you contracted, here is what you signed up to’ because the truth is they didn’t. If your parents are Catholic and you are baptized in a Catholic Church, that baby becomes a member for life – according to the teaching of the church. We live now in times where we have the right to freedom of conscience, freedom of belief, freedom of opinion, freedom of religion and freedom to change religion, yet the Catholic Church has not fully embraced this thinking. Children should have the opportunity, as adults, to validate or repudiate their affiliation.” 

The Raelian Movement views baptism as a deeply personal act that must be entered into voluntarily. From our perspective, baptizing infants not only disregards their autonomy but also imposes lifelong affiliations they may not choose for themselves. The Raelian baptism ceremony, by contrast, is performed only for consenting individuals who fully understand its meaning. Rael explains that the ritual serves as a formal acknowledgment of the Elohim as our Creators, symbolizing an individual’s conscious choice and alignment with Raelian teachings.

The scientific aspect of our baptism ritual is described in Intelligent Design (p.334):

“The principle of baptism, the transmission of one’s cellular plan, is today understandable to us, and this ceremony is scientifically explained as follows: every individual has a cellular chromosomic plan, specific to him/her, which vibrates with its own electromagnetic spectral emission. A Guide, whose own frequency has been noted by the Elohim during his or her initiation, can act as a relay between the new Raelian and the Elohim’s satellite which records every human thought. Water is used between the new Raelian’s forehead and the Guide’s hands so as to establish a good electrical contact, and the Raelian baptism indicates to the Elohim that the Raelian has both understood the messages and lives by them. It is an act of recognition.”

It goes without saying that our perspective challenges institutions like the Catholic Church to reevaluate traditional practices such as infant baptism. Imposing religious obligations on children without their consent is flat out wrong as it restricts their future freedom of belief and expression, thus raising ethical concerns that merit serious reflection. 

Ultimately, the Raelian perspective emphasizes informed consent and respect for individual rights, advocating that spiritual practices should align with human rights principles. By encouraging children to explore various beliefs and decide for themselves as adults, this approach promotes genuine autonomy and psychological well-being. In a modern society that values human rights, it’s high time to reconsider whether such rituals honor the autonomy of individuals or perpetuate limitations on personal freedom.

The ceremony is typically conducted by a Raelian Priest or Bishop, regardless of gender, or by Rael himself. It serves as an official acknowledgment of the Elohim as our Creators by the individual who has chosen to undergo this initiation.

Louisiana citizens are the latest to befall such medieval decisions. On June 19, 2024 state Governor Jeff Landry passed a law mandating every public school classroom to display the Ten Commandments. They must be shown prominently and clearly, and schools must have them in place by 2025. While Landry justifies this by saying the Commandments have 'historical significance,' this is a weak argument when confronted by the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights - another document with historical significance yet is not required to be displayed in every classroom - which states we 'shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...'

The law is just part of this religious trend with conservative lawmakers. Last month, Louisiana legislators also banned abortion, declaring abortion pills as dangerous controlled substances. Elsewhere, states like Texas and Florida passed laws allowing religious chaplains to provide mental health services or support for public school students.

There are critics of these laws. Maitreya Rael, founder and leader of the Raelian Movement, advocates for freedom in all things, including religion. He spoke in 2006 about the Western world potentially sliding backward towards religious policies that favor discrimination and constrict peoples' rights. "...[T]he western world must continue to accelerate its progressive reforms which allow it to completely destroy the last puritanical and conventional traces inherited from the oppressive Judeo-Christian traditions," he said that year. That was almost 20 years ago, and it seems like the US is struggling in this regard.

In order to destroy these last traces, as Maitreya Rael says, we must start with the children. We must reconsider the values we expose to them. How much time and effort is taken teaching the names of military generals, brutal colonizers, and tyrannical kings compared to the names of the brilliant inventors of daily objects like toilets, laundry machines, dishwashers, and the automobile? How can we drill the details of the Magna Charta but omit the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? This is the document that should be in every classroom.

If we are thoroughly examining our children's education, we must critique religion itself - monotheistic beliefs in particular. After the World Trade Centers were attacked in 2001, Maitreya Rael said, "Whether it is the Bible, the Gospel, or the Koran, all these sacred books spread hatred, intolerance, and encourage violence and barbarism." The very nature of monotheism and its traditions endorse discrimination and conflict - after all, if there is only One God and you believe a different one then one must be wrong and the other right. He continues in his speech,

...such texts must no longer be taught to children! Because the fact is that while the world cries over the victims of Manhattan, there are children who are receiving a religious education that will turn them into the terrorists of tomorrow who will in turn create new strife among different religious schools.

To post the First Commandment in a classroom, which says, 'You shall have no other gods before me,' is to instill intolerance of those who believe in a different one!

We must embrace tolerance and celebrate the differences among each other. However, we cannot impose them onto others, nor throw out decades of freedom and liberty, all of which are happening more and more in this country. We must teach our youth tolerance, respect, and fraternity for all other men and women, regardless of their ethnicity, culture, or religion.

I wanted freedom within my body and my mind, to break from the chains of a grief that was both mine and not my own, of physical and emotional pain that had caused my depression over the years. Losing family, trying and failing to keep close friends, and understanding why I was living on planet Earth. I wanted to leave, but I knew my life meant more than just dealing with personal problems. It was either a constant meandering of who I was without finding the answers, or going to this Happiness Academy and seeing Prophet Rael for the first time. To straddle onto a string of hope that there was something more to this life.

It was December 9, 2023, and time slowed down enough so that I could catch my bearings. I was a little on edge to go to the Happiness Academy in Okinawa. I was already aware of what I might be getting into: over 500 people were being taught by the infamous prophet, Rael—also known as the alien prophet.

See, when I started this journey, I had no idea if this event was going to change my perspective of life or do nothing at all. My father has had a huge history as a part of the Mormon Church, having left it after 30 years and joined the Raelian Movement. Since my early childhood, I was familiar with their idea of Raelism—there was no God, extraterrestrials (Elohim, the Creators) created life on Earth, and the goal was to make a paradise on this planet. Having not been baptized or been in the environment of church people, I never had a strong belief in God being real or not. This was to my advantage, meaning I had no filters in a young mind.

I wanted to understand why they said there was no God since I was always around friends who were a part of the LDS/Mormon/Christian Church and a father who was in the higher ranks of the church in the small town of Beryl Junction, Utah. Worship God, our Lord and Savior, make tithes, repent your sins, and understand the Bible. That’s how you can find peace. Ever since Covid, a lot of people have been leaving the Church, so obviously there was something wrong even with the philosophy of it—by religious trauma.

So why did these so-called Raelians not believe in this, but at the same time want peace on Earth? How the hell are they going to promote this idea while also spreading their atheistic philosophy, showing their controversial symbol similar to that of the Nazis and the Star of David combined? Why did they connect the Bible to science, to extraterrestrials creating life and not evolution? What was the connection?

Many, many questions were swirling in my mind at the time, and when I entered the Happiness Academy, I hoped for at least some of them to be answered. Yes, I was unhappy, anxious, and worried about every aspect of how this would go. I was hoping to become happy, to find a place in life that wouldn’t cause me to have mixed feelings. I wanted to hope that there could be peace in a world that was hateful and imbalanced.

And so I went to my first ‘class.’ People were introduced, mostly foreign than familiar. I had walked into an environment that I wasn’t used to. People of many nationalities were smiling, and hugging, mostly French greetings since a lot of people were, well, French. It took a lot of energy out of me to meet new people. So, I avoided some for the first couple of days. The lectures from some Raelians were very long—so long I had to leave the room quite a few times for ‘bathroom breaks.’ For some of them, we meditated, such as breathing exercises and humming all as one. Mind you, 500 people did this, and it was absolutely astonishing. It was one of these moments that you had to be there to experience it.

Finally, there was Rael. There was no feeling of that push and pull, of wondering if this wasn’t a good idea to be here. I, among other people, was simply there in the presence of a man who created the Raelian Movement 50 years ago. He looked every one in the eye with a small, wondrous smile. There was no judgment. No fear. No turmoil. Nothing that seemed out of place. He spoke, and love like no other I’d seen hushed the audience.

Everyone's energy around me calmed and settled like ripples on a pond smoothing out.

“Now,” Rael said softly. “Feel Infinity.”

I didn’t understand what he meant at first. I didn’t understand when some Raelians started tearing up, their smiles unbroken. They looked up to him with love as he did to them. He continued to speak, talking to us as if we were all having a one-on-one conversation. He made sure we knew that because he was the last prophet, it doesn’t mean that he is better than us. We are all one, all equal, all part of Infinity.

“Infinity is you,” he said. “It is as simple as that. We are a bunch of atoms living in a bunch of atoms. And you listen, now.” We did. We heard the sigh of the wind and the waves of the ocean. It was different from what you would feel in a crowded room unlike these Raelians, or laying in your bed at night alone. This was 500 people sharing silence, sharing love. A thought came to my mind the more we listened in silence: Everything sings. He confirmed it by repeating, “Infinity is everything.”

The more he spoke, the more I understood. Like the Native American culture, where they were Mother Nature, and Mother Nature was them. You are the tree, and the tree is you. The fabric of the universe is intertwined—connected. Humanity is one people, all divided into races, political parties, and religions, but they all have the same concept. It was fact, and it was science. You didn’t believe it because it was true, you believed it because you knew. And knowing is much more powerful than belief. It’s wisdom.

This is what it felt like for the rest of the week I was there. Foreign strangers became friends with a glance, a smile, or a hug. The Happiness Academy provided more than lectures; they planned for meditative exercises, both physically and mentally. One that really stood out for me was a sensual meditation where you’d massage a partner for five minutes.

You see, we live in a society where touch or even being close to a person is avoided as much as possible. In this case, feeling someone is important to health, not just because we are deprived of it, but it is also instinct. We are naturally social creatures, and this world has taken away this gift of life, hence Covid-19 in 2020. These meditations helped me break some kind of barrier I didn’t know I had, and these sensual meditations really helped more than I thought.

There were evening talent shows and concerts of Raelians singing and dancing. Most notably, a group of women within the Raelian Movement call themselves Angels. These women were absolutely feminine, so beautiful and powerful—it’s like they were goddesses themselves. They clothed themselves in thin silk robes, wearing headdresses of white feathers in one show, and in another, they wore so many colors they became flowers on a field. Their voices were exceptionally entrancing, so much so that everyone was in awe, including myself.

However, one show brought tears to my eyes. This was the last one of the week, and the Angels as well as other women clothed themselves in their homeland cultures, dancing as each of these cultures would. They ranged from Spanish culture to Japanese, African to Native American. I felt so empowered, so reunited with what I’ve been missing all along. Rael was even crying himself, and he couldn’t stop himself after the show to come and talk to us. As a woman myself, his words rang warm and deep in my soul. “A peaceful future on Earth is a future led by women,” he said to us. “Femininity is a remedy for mankind and the way to prevent its destruction.”

I became more confident, became more comfortable being…myself. I wasn’t worried about the world. I didn’t care if I had a specific purpose in life. Every person I saw, Raelian or not, was a friend to me. I was living in a paradise, and I didn’t know at the time because I was living in the now, as Rael told us to do. There was no force, no negativity, no authority. It was freedom like I never knew existed. The love, happiness, and peace I felt were so raw, so true in their form. It was as if the impossible became the possible.

I didn’t want to leave the Happiness Academy. Didn’t want to leave the smiles and hugs and the warm gaze everyone shared. I traveled back to the Okinawa airport, and I kept my peace and love within, smiling and recognizing each person who passed by me with a respectable nod. I departed from my fellow Raelians, saying our goodbyes, even though they didn’t want to leave either.

After arriving in Tokyo, I realized how much the environment had changed, having no one in the Happiness Academy being here. The people around me had their heads down, eyes downcast, unsmiling, and a dull light in their eyes. I even told my dad how different it was already, and he nodded knowingly at me and smiled almost sadly. How much of a higher vibration I was, it was sad to see this kind of society where everyone was a stranger and not a friend.

I was at one of the departing stations to go through one of the security checkpoints. My head was held high, looking at each and everyone in the eye, wanting them to return my smile because it makes a difference, Rael had told us. Then, I saw a fellow Raelian, and I beamed. We both smiled and greeted each other, breaking the silence that had accumulated around us, everyone giving us looks as we hugged and said, “Safe travels.”

But when my friend left, that was all it took. I couldn’t stop the emotion from Οowing out of me, how disappointed I was when this society wouldn’t do the same. How separate and unfriendly we were to each other. I looked at my dad, shaking my head and saying, “Wow” repeatedly because I couldn’t handle it. It was all too much, and I was so, so sad.

“That’s why we keep this love, Katie. This energy and life within us spread to others. To plant a seed in their mind that not all is lost,” my dad said to me. I couldn’t stop crying, how I could feel the others around me, stressed and depressed and angry. So, that was the purpose of the Raelian Movement. Spreading love and peace and upholding the promise to Prophet Rael that we would try to do what we could on this Earth. The Raelians' own society was a paradise compared to the society we see now. All Raelians want to make that happen here, no matter how hard it is. Of course, it may not be fulfilled, and that’s what Rael reminded us. Do not force, do not worry, just be you. To be love and peace so others can feel it too.

Yes, this trip to the Happiness Academy has changed my life, and I am forever grateful for it. It has been almost 4 months now, and I have learned a lot more about our society. We’re constantly overworked and depressed financially, physically, and mentally. Because I understand what it is like on both sides of the spectrum, it is more of a knowledge and an awareness than a letdown seeing what state our world is in. We had evolved to this, and through time, power, and greed, using this gift of life was slowly taken from us. The privilege to live as a simple human being became nearly lost in history.

However, there is still hope. No matter how many turns life can take, peace, love, and happiness remain. It is always there from the smallest act of kindness to our significant others. My greatest thanks is to Prophet Rael for starting this movement. It means that there is more to life than what we see on the surface. It means a new hope, and as you are still here reading this, I hope you realize that life is worth living.

You have a purpose. And that purpose is to live.

The Raelian philosophy is based on absolute non-violence, which includes unconditional respect for others, their integrity, their choices, and therefore consent. This includes all forms of violence: physical, psychological, and sexual.

Has the public become so accustomed to media conflagration, distorting and spreading rumors about Raelian women and their spiritual leader to the point that yet another milestone has to be crossed in this escalation of hatred of religious minorities and the search for an audience? Extremely serious comments are being reported and relayed on social networks, of a journalist who, more than 20 years ago, alleged sexual slavery of women within the Raelian Movement, under the cover of a pseudo-infiltration which was unmasked at the time by the organizers, because it was so ridiculous and not credible.

Following the massive dissemination of this information, to date very few journalists have dared to do their work, to get their information from the source with the aim of contradictory reporting. What do they fear? To commit a serious crime: the illegal practice of Truth?

The seriousness and scope of this accusation demand a right of reply. It is being made clear that legal recourses will be exercised, within the framework appropriate to each country.

Slavery in all its forms, be it sexual slavery or any other form of slavery, is abhorrent, both to the Raelian Movement as an organization and to every individual Raelian, wherever located. It is completely contrary to our philosophy, which is based on respect for oneself and others, absolute non-violence, and accountability.

The subject of slavery and sexual slavery is neither a trivial nor a fun subject, and certainly MUST not be dealt with lightly.

If the person echoing this knows of cases or of truth about sexual slavery, they MUST let the police know right away in the country where they are. Not doing so, and not reporting an alleged crime to the authorities, doesn't it make them responsible for failing to report a crime? Unless their only goal is to gain publicity, by knowingly discriminating against a group and its leader.

In any case, their responsibility is considerable: either they have knowledge of facts and therefore MUST denounce them, or they take responsibility for accusing people of the worst crimes, without proof, as the media did during a dark period of our history when they accused the Jews of nefarious crimes.

Slavery is a crime and MUST be reported. The fact that the person making these accusations did not provide this crucial service to humanity, apparently without going to the police, speaks volumes about their values and character.

It is clear that the truth rarely sells television programs or newspapers. It is therefore tempting to add the terms “sex” and “slavery” to sell a product that the public apparently wants to see. This is a juicy accusation for people who do not realize its seriousness.

The truth is if a story that actually depicted the truth about Santa Claus was done, who would watch it and find any interest in it, right? Let's just imagine that the media wrote such a story and was looking for unhappy or vulnerable people willing to state, for whatever reason, that they heard Santa Claus was "keeping sex slaves hostage, organizing orgies, and liked sex,” would that make it true?

In any case, if there is evidence then it becomes a human duty to report it to the police immediately. Glenn Carter, head of the Raelian Movement in the United Kingdom, reminded a journalist that “Personally, I will go to the police the following second, and I will never let a situation of slavery persist: providing evidence to be of service to the person suffering from a crime that I can put an end to, or freeing that person from it, is a human duty.” This is what every human being MUST do.

The story of a journalist relating to a period going back more than 20 years and her attitude is particularly revealing: what has she been doing all these years?

If there was a real danger, why didn't she go to the police and judicial authorities?

In this climate of incitement to hatred, the media failed to point out that RAEL has never been prosecuted for acts of this nature or any other unlawful or criminal acts.  When mentioning “exile”, do the media and authorities that are claiming authority in the anti-sect witch hunt suggest that Rael is a fugitive?

These elements reflect a situation of religious racism and discrimination which continues to rage in countries such as France and Quebec. Insults and death threats were made against Raelians and their spiritual guide, and are at the origin of the forced exile of members of religious minorities.

When one grimly observes the minimal consideration given to the life of an Iraqi child, a child from Gaza, or that of a "migrant" drowning in the Mediterranean, in the eyes of many politicians and media, the level of consideration to the life of a Raelian and their family is even less.

And what about two-sided debates and freedom of expression, or simply freedoms? Fierce advocates of freedom! Yes, the Raelian philosophy advocates freedom on all levels, including sexual freedom. Above all, it encourages the freedom to be oneself, happy, and fulfilled in one's sexuality, be it in a polyamorous relationship, exclusive with one partner, in heterosexuality or homosexuality, bisexuality, or without a partner... A choice that only has to do with individual freedom and one’s privacy. All forms of sexuality are possible, with absolute respect for the people involved in the relationship, their consent, and within the framework of the laws in place. These are the foundations of true sexual freedom. This freedom is also that of having children or not, of joining the Raelian Movement or leaving it, of working in the sex industry or not, of contributing financially or not, of getting involved in the religious Order of Angels or not, to leave it or not. These are personal choices, made by consenting adults.

Nicole Bertrand, the spokesperson for the Raelian Church of Canada, stated in April 2023: “The lies regularly conveyed by the media, in Quebec in particular, are numerous: human trafficking, exploitation of women, misogyny, to name just a few”.

The Raelian Movement is not above the law, and alleged victims who want to testify about abuse of any kind have already been invited in the past to report these crimes to the authorities concerned. This is the opportunity once again to remind them.

Freedom goes hand in hand with responsibility: that of reporting duly proven reprehensible acts to the competent authorities is part of it.

In addition, let’s recall that:

• One of the “witnesses”, Jean Parraga, appearing on the set of a television show, Ciel mon Mardi, broadcast in 1992, is a repeat offender, violent, and his Raelian wife left him. He was convicted of pimping. His fight against cults was used to cover up these activities by creating an association, one of whose honorary members was the assistant to the host of this television show, Christophe Dechavanne. There is no mention of these facts or the convictions that followed this “fabricated”, “staged” broadcast. Amidst the planned cacophony on the set, who heard Rael express with the utmost authority: I agree with you (we are not allowed to touch children)? Who heard that the children (of the "witness") were with their mother (and not in the community, which does not exist since there is no Raelian community)?

• In a case mentioned, George Fenech, a former magistrate, made a significant error: it was not two Raelians but a Catholic man and a Raelian man who were convicted for actions committed against an 11-year-old girl at a strictly private event. The police and judicial authorities conducted their work properly. This has nothing to do with the Raelian Movement and it was not implicated.
• Methods consisting of filming people, in a private setting, characterize an illegal invasion of privacy. Unfortunately, the possibility of issuing an injunction to stop the broadcasting remains difficult to implement to this day. Even if a victim wins compensation, the moral and reputational damages have already been done to individuals since the lies of the media will remain forever in people's minds, poisoning the public opinion conditioned by these hoaxers.
• We have been able to observe through testimonies that the "infiltrators" have willingly engaged in relationships, it seems! Or if they were not consensual, what are they waiting for to mention it to their employer or file a complaint?
• Raël has never been prosecuted or implicated. However, authorities have not hesitated to deploy resources over these decades, presumably to dismantle a supposed international pedophile network that has never existed. Shouldn't these resources be deployed within the Catholic Church: 216,000 victims of members of the French Catholic Church, and up to 330,000 victims when considering sexual abuses committed by laypeople working in Catholic Church institutions (chaplaincy, teachers in schools, youth movements)? This places the Catholic institution as more dangerous than the education or sports sectors... and just after families.

With what is happening in the world, some Raelians are wondering if they have the moral right to participate in a Happiness Academy. Spreading happiness while atomic bombs multiply every day and Palestinian children are being massacred in a terrible genocide, seems shocking to them.

The truth is that the only way to save Humanity is Love. But Love is only possible among people who are happy and who spread happiness. When we are unhappy, we can become aggressive, and from aggression to violence, there is but one step. The more unhappy we are, the more we are going to become aggressive and therefore violent. The destruction of humanity can only be caused by unhappy people, just like the Palestinian genocide. And each violent action increases the guilt and therefore the lack of happiness of those responsible, in a vicious circle, which means that each violent action will generate more unhappiness and thus more violence.

The Israelis are the unhappiest people in the world, and that's why they are the most violent. They are intrinsically unhappy because they know deep down within themselves, despite the lies of their politicians and media, that they have stolen the lands and homes of the Palestinians, which goes against the very foundations of their religion, whose most beautiful values are: "Thou shalt not kill," and "Love thy neighbor as thyself." A religion that teaches them that they are the "chosen people", but chosen not to dominate others, but to promote throughout the world this absolute value of not killing and of spreading love. With a law that eliminates any temptation to dominate, perhaps the most beautiful law of the Hebrew texts is: that they are forbidden to create a state or a nation! Therefore, Zionism is fundamentally anti-Semitic and anti-Jewish.

This lack of happiness, due to the feeling of guilt of having committed genocides and pillaging, can be found in all "civilizations" that have built their power and wealth on the domination and suffering of "others." That has been the case for almost all European nations in their colonial madness, which Asians rightly call the "white catastrophe." North and South America with the genocide of local populations, Asia which still bears the scars of these crimes, Australia, etc... In short, the whole planet has been ravaged by this sense of racial superiority of the white Europeans and their impunity in what Americans call exceptionalism. Which basically means that International Law must apply to everyone except themselves. The same suffering that Israelis endure where their crimes drive them to unhappiness and ever-increasing violence, was also experienced by colonialists in Africa, America, and all over the world, pushing them into this vicious circle, inevitably leading to genocides.

And everywhere, the justification of racial superiority is inevitable. In the context of a new world war that can only be nuclear, there is no doubt that all parties will justify their launching of missiles by claiming racial superiority. It is precisely this idea of racial superiority that can lead to the destruction of Humanity.

The only solution for saving Humanity is therefore Love. And this love can only be unconditional, like all true love. And it can only be generated by happiness, which, in a positive virtuous circle, automatically brings more happiness and therefore more love.

That is why when atomic bombs and genocides accumulate, it is more important than ever to meditate for Peace and participate in the Happiness Academies. Only the spreading of happiness and love can save Humanity!

The mistake would be to stay at home to weep at the tragedies of the world, in a false sense of justification, which does not prevent them in any way, and to try to make those who participate in the Happiness Academies feel guilty, claiming that it would be selfish to focus on happiness when so many people are suffering. It is precisely to stop this suffering that we MUST spread and develop happiness. Happiness is the only solution to save Humanity because it brings Love.

That is also why we must stop indulging in images of bloody children and spread more beauty, art, and Happiness.

At the time, the entire world was very sympathetic to and full of compassion for the Jewish people because of what they had endured. The world was, in fact, “pro-Semitic” then, including the Arabic people, who are the Jews’ direct brothers since both groups are Semitic peoples. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semitic ). Knowing this, we can understand that no Arab could possibly be anti-Semitic, despite the much-propagated media lie to the contrary.

Beyond doubt, before the creation of Israel, the Palestinian people would have been ready to welcome all the Jewish survivors to their country, where Jews already made up three percent of the population and had lived happily among the Arabic people for centuries. This Jewish minority was highly respected and was perfectly integrated into Muslim society.

What happened after World War II was both tragic and unnecessary. At first, many Jews emigrated there peacefully from Europe. Then some fanatical Zionists initiated the creation of a purely Jewish state that stole land and houses from the Arabic people, forcing more than a million of them into exile in a monstrous ethnic cleansing episode.

Imagine that this terrible crime had never been committed. The Palestinians would have welcomed Jews from around the world since Muslims have great respect for Jews, described in the Koran as People of the Book (referring to the Bible). The Shoa [Holocaust] survivors would have brought with them to Palestine their enormous scientific and intellectual knowledge, and today we would have a rich country called Palestine that would be approximately 30 percent Jewish. Those Jews would now form part of a democratically elected government, and there would be no war there, nor any refugees – and no concentration camps like Gaza. September 11 wouldn’t have happened and we’d have no ‘war against terror.’ Just imagine…

Then consider the reality: Israel today is very similar to – yet even worse than – the South Africa of the apartheid era. It’s a racist state that accepts only Jewish immigrants, denies equal rights to non-Jews living there, and forbids members of other religions to attempt the conversion of its Jews. Its fanatical orthodox Jews even consider all non-Jews to be inferior human beings called “gentiles,” who, according to the orthodox religious books, are just good enough to be slaves.

Following the great example set by Mahatma Gandhi, I recently launched an initiative called “Be a Jewish Gandhi,” which promotes the adoption of Palestinian orphans by Israeli couples, who would agree to raise the adopted children as Muslims. But it looks as though Israeli law makes it illegal for Jews to adopt non-Jewish children! Can we imagine anything more racist?

It’s not too late to create peace between these Semitic brothers, but every new war crime like the Gaza massacre makes it more difficult. The solution is very simple: as usual, only love – not war – can save humanity. A two-state solution is not the solution, for it’s perpetuating a terrible apartheid. Those who lost their land, homes, and children will never be able to forgive and live side by side with their tormentors.

The hatred in this region will never end unless something drastic happens, since the only solution would be something that creates a truly deep and sincere reconciliation. Such reconciliation can only be accomplished if the victims are first recognized as victims, then integrated into a new entity – and with huge monetary compensation for their suffering. This means the creation of a unique, new state of Palestine, in which, as in South Africa, two groups of people – in this case, Palestinians and Jews – could live peacefully side by side and share their combined financial and human resources. This huge new Palestinian nation could become very rich since so much money is now wasted on non-productive military expenditures.

Of course, creating this new nation would involve giving back to the Palestinians every parcel of land and every house that has been stolen from them – or the equivalent in monetary compensation if that property has been destroyed – plus additional financial compensation for each person killed and for the years of exile. And of course, there would have to be a guarantee that all the exiled Palestinians can return home safely.

Then, surely, the Semitic Palestinians would forgive their Jewish brothers and live peacefully together with them forever. There is more than enough land in Palestine to create room for everybody, but only forgiveness and compassion can make it possible.

The Israelis are refusing to allow the Palestinian refugees to return mainly because they’re afraid of becoming a minority. But only those who don’t trust the majority are afraid of being a minority, as the pro-apartheid white supremacists were in South Africa for so long. Today’s South Africa is proof that peaceful co-existence works. The national reconciliation in that country wrought by great human beings like Nelson Mandela was a success. Just as whites in South Africa no longer feel threatened living among a black majority, there’s no reason for Jews to fear living among an Arabic majority in a peaceful country where everyone would enjoy the same equal rights. After all, that would be a much less dangerous situation than being surrounded by hundreds of millions of hostile Arabic people! Raël

The international community, the United Nations, and all superpowers should force Israel to accept this solution – if necessary, by putting in place, as they did for South Africa, a total economic embargo against Israel until the solution is accepted. They should also send troops to protect the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza concentration camp, who are in danger of being exterminated in a genocide that will forever make the Israelis look as bad as the Nazis. This genocide will trigger a worldwide wave of what is called ‘anti-Semitism,’ but which will in fact be hatred directed against Jewish people.

The Israeli Law of Return, if applied equally to Palestinians and Jews worldwide, would permit the creation of a very rich country. It would also solve the problem of the hundreds of thousands of Jewish settlers who built houses in the Palestinian territories since they would be able to stay where they are. The returning Palestinians could go back to their homes and lands in Israel. And Jerusalem would be the capital that both Palestinians and Jews cherish.

So it’s not too late to implement this fundamental change – the creation of a new Palestinian state in which all Semitic brothers and sisters can live together peacefully, without drama, bombs, genocide, or orphans. Just imagine, as John Lennon sang so beautifully: “You may say that I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.”

Let’s make the dream of a united Palestine a reality before it’s too late! It’s the only solution

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing to you today to express my deep concerns regarding my recent interactions with the Facebook/Meta support team. As a valued user of your platform and a member of the International Raelian Movement (see Raelian Movement), I feel compelled to bring to your attention the challenges I have encountered and the impact they have had on my rights and freedoms.

First and foremost, I would like to emphasize the importance of religious freedom and respect for diverse beliefs. The International Raelian Movement is an officially recognized religion in the United States, and our religious symbol, which includes the Swastika, holds profound significance for our community. Moreover, it is important to emphasize that the Swastika holds deep meaning for millions of Hindus, Buddhists, and Raelians alike. For these communities, the Swastika symbolizes peace and benevolence thus representing their belief in infinity in time and the concept of eternity.

More importantly, I find it disheartening that my original post, which aimed to promote the rehabilitation of the Swastika in honor of Swastika Rehabilitation Day on June 24th, was removed without sufficient explanation or consideration of its cultural and religious context. Instead, I received a warning, and both my Facebook account and the US Raelian Movement page that I manage were subjected to restrictions.

The restrictions placed on the US Raelian Movement's Facebook page, along with the implications for my personal account, have significantly impeded my ability to exercise my freedom of expression and share my religious and philosophical views. I firmly believe in the importance of open dialogue and the respectful exchange of ideas, and it is disheartening to see these principles compromised.

While I acknowledge that Facebook/Meta is a private company with its own set of rules and policies, I urge you to consider the broader implications of how your platform handles topics that may diverge from mainstream narratives or challenge popular opinions. It is crucial to foster an environment where users can freely express their beliefs and engage in constructive and respectful conversations without fear of arbitrary restrictions or suppression.

I kindly request your personal attention on this matter in order to ensure a fair and thorough review of my case. I firmly believe that open dialogue and understanding can lead to positive change. I am prepared to provide any additional information or engage in further discussions to achieve a resolution that upholds the principles of freedom of speech and religious expression.

We are actually already seeing a backlash from their decision and this is only the beginning.  To have the district’s Board of Education establish and appoint a committee for the sole purpose of reviewing parents’ complaints is counterproductive, and perhaps if things had been handled differently, such a committee would never have seen the light of day.  Case in point, the Davis School District is now considering whether to return the Bible to library shelves. 

But if we are serious at all about filtering the content of any book, it should be done for violence-related not sex-related passages like onanism, pornography, racial identity, or LGBTQ lifestyles, and we should start by expurgating from all religious texts every single passage that violates human rights, such as the beating, raping, and stoning of wives for disobeying their husbands, the killing of adulterers, homosexuals and infidels, pedophilia, genital mutilation, infanticide, and rape, and the list goes on.  Because if we continue to ignore such teachings, we are only ensuring more generations of violence, and at some point, we must say "Enough is enough" and hold all religions accountable for what they teach their followers.

For decades now, Rael—spiritual leader of the International Raelian Movement (see Raelian Movement)—has advocated the creation of an international oversight committee that would be tasked with the removal from all religious texts of any passage that incites racism, sexism, discrimination, intolerance, and violence.  In other words, passages that fail to respect the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  How much longer will the UN continue to ignore such a brilliant and pro-human rights request remains to be seen.  Until then, we must continue to campaign for human rights, justice, freedom, equality, and peace for all humans.

Our [Raelian Movement] position on this ruling or any other that impedes human rights and our individual right to choose is crystal clear; we vehemently oppose such ruling not only because it’s an attack on women’s right to choose and on their freedom, but also because it undeniably takes us back to the Dark Ages!  But why?  Why would anybody want that, especially in the 21st century?

Be that as it may, this decision, won by a close 5-4 majority, is yet another example of a lopsided political dynamic in which most of the Supreme Court believes in conservative values (six Supreme Court Justices are Catholics.)  Yes, the justices on the Supreme Court are supposed to be neutral, and apolitical public servants but are they really?  We know they are nominated by partisanship, and many of their votes are leaning toward the conservative views of the people who appoint them.  So, don’t expect me to believe for a moment that religious convictions play no part in this.

Case in point, according to a February 2020 survey, Americans are divided on the extent to which the country’s laws should reflect biblical teachings.  Roughly half of adults say the Bible should influence U.S. laws, and more than a quarter say the Bible should prevail over the will of the people if the two are at odds.  Only one-third of Americans say the Bible shouldn’t influence U.S. laws at all.

Let’s talk about SCOTUS now.  These nine judges are not only given lifetime positions but they’re not held to any effing standard!  They should have absolutely no authority over our bodily choices and freedom of choice, period.  Yet, the decision to overturn Roe V. Wade showed us the extent to which this body (pun intended) is politicized and religiously biased.

As mentioned, with now six Supreme Court Justices who are Catholics, their decision, whether they will admit it or not, was highly influenced by their religious beliefs (aka inhibiting and condemning moral values.)  And by allowing states the option to legally ban abortion means that conservative state legislators across the country will also allow their deeply entrenched religious convictions to influence and dictate how they should vote on bills that affect individual rights because, let’s face it, everything in their eyes is about what’s morally right and we know their moral compass is already messed up, to begin with.

Believe you me when I say that the notion of separation of Church and State has never been so crucial.  And not only should it be unequivocally reinforced and become a golden rule in every layer of the U.S. government but, at a deeper level, there should also be a separation of Church and Sex, because this ruling isn’t just political, it’s also linked to deeply rooted religious convictions with the Catholic Church’s long history of controversies and aversion to issues related to human sexuality, sex education, and freedom of expression.

As we know, the Raelian Movement has worked tirelessly for decades to denounce the powerful, poisonous, and dangerous influence that the Catholic Church has over governments.  In fact, Rael is the only spiritual leader who has suggested that the Catholic Church be denied sovereign state status and be recognized as a criminal organization!  Thank you, dear Maitreya!

Lastly, in the big scheme of things this ruling is a clear reminder that absolutely nothing can be taken for granted in this country; neither our rights nor our freedoms.

You have in recent days issued a number pardons, as many of your predecessors have done over the years. While these pardons are a welcome gift for those individuals, why not give a gift to all Americans, if not all people of the Earth, by ordering the release of all UFO files secretly held by various U.S. government agencies?

The U.S. Navy not too long ago released very explicit footage of “unknown” aircraft. And earlier this year, the Pentagon created a task force to investigate the UFOs that have been observed by U.S. Military aircraft. More and more people are convinced that “they are out there.”

According to recent reports, New York City UFO sightings in 2020 are up 283 percent from 2018!

The public needs to be told everything about this subject that is still being withheld by government agencies, even if they don’t know who is flying these craft and why their occupants are contacting us. Note: If they actually wanted to harm us, they would have done that a long time ago. (Given their vast technological superiority, there is nothing we could have done about it anyway!)

Therefore, there is absolutely no reason to fear these UFO occupants in any way. After you read this letter, you will understand why we’re convinced that the civilization visiting Earth does not, in any way, shape or form, constitute a threat to our security, our sovereignty, or our very existence. These are neither abductors nor invaders. In fact, the truth is exactly the opposite!

Thousands of years ago, these extraterrestrials came to Earth and scientifically engineered all forms of life, including human beings, whom they created in their own image. References to these scientists and their work can be found in the ancient texts of many cultures, but because of their highly advanced technology, our primitive ancestors mistook them for gods. These extraterrestrials are, in fact, our creators. In the ancient texts, they were referred to as the “Elohim,” which in the original Hebrew means “those who came from the sky,” but over time, that phrase was mistranslated as the singular word “God.” (Although an error, that is the translation still used in modern-day Bibles!)

In 1973, the Elohim physically contacted Rael and gave him a message for a two-fold mission: (1) to spread their peaceful and loving message for humanity throughout the world, and (2) to build an embassy that would officially welcome them back to Earth.

There have been more and more UFO sightings these past few decades. These were planned by the Elohim to open our minds to the idea of extraterrestrial life and the return of our parents from space. As was written a long time ago already: “There will be signs in the sky.”

The official welcoming of our extraterrestrial creators will ring in a new era for humanity, allowing us to inherit their advanced knowledge and making Earth a paradise for everyone. The country granting the necessary extraterritoriality and giving the authorization for that embassy to be built within its territory will not only benefit financially, but enjoy the protection of the Elohim. It will become the spiritual and scientific center of the planet for millennial to come!

In your long business and political career, you have always been known for speaking your mind, for not being afraid to “put things out there.” Only with your courage can these UFO files be released. After all, what greater hope could there be for this planet than for people to understand that we are not alone in this universe? Think of the incredible legacy you could create right now by revealing that reality!
